Medical Plastic Injection

Medical Plastic Injection

In medical plastic injection, materials are produced by separating polymer materials after distillation of crude oil.

Plastic is injected into the mold, which is formed by melting it in the form of raw materials at a high temperature.

This injection process is also called plastic injection. Intensive work is done in this area. The usage area of plastic injection is extremely wide.

The medical plastic injection process is quite simple. As a result of the processes, products of different sizes are produced.

Production processes are done with injection machines. These machines have become more modern with the development of technology.

Today, these devices also work in harmony with computers. In this way, medical plastic injection products can be produced quickly.

What is Medical Plastic Injection?

Plastic injection; It consists of 3 separate parts in total. These parts are; vise, injection and mold.

Vise is the compression of plastic raw materials that melt at high temperatures at the specified level and under pressure.

It is the part where the raw material brought from the injection clamp part is filled into the mold.

The last stage applied in the production of medical plastic injection is the cooling process. The cooling process is done in the mold section.

Medical plastic injection is produced by going through some processes. The use of quality and durable materials is of great importance in the production process.

Precautions should be taken against some possible accident or error situations during the production phase.

Medical Plastic Injection Production Stages

Extremely sensitive and meticulous action is required in the medical plastic injection manufacturing process. The production stages are briefly as follows;

● After the injection and clamping stages, ironing is done in order to achieve the desired dimensions. This step is important to prevent errors such as buckling or warping.

● Pressure is applied to the raw material that has been compressed into the molds. With this application, a better compression of the raw material is ensured.

● This process continues until the plastic material turns into a solid appearance in the container.

● Afterwards, cooling is done so that the product can be removed from the mold. The water channels in the mold make this process easy.

● In the last stage, mold opening is done. In this way, the product is removed from the mold.
